FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

What should I wear to the session?

This is probably one of my most asked questions and with good reason. What you wear can really help to elevate your photographs and keep them looking timeless for years to come. Each session comes with a Welcome guide that helps prepare for the session, including a style guide. I will also be on hand throughout the whole process to help guide you before the session.

What about the weather?

Living in the UK, we know how unpredictable the weather can be. I will be firmly on weather watch in the lead up to the shoot but if we have to change the date, then we will agree a suitable time and get it rescheduled.

When is the best time to have a maternity session?

I'd recommend that you book your maternity shoot between 28 - 34 weeks of pregnancy. This is when your bump will look nice and round and before you start to feel uncomfortable.

When is the best time to have a newborn session?

If you want to capture the very early sleepy days, then I would suggest booking a shoot for the first three weeks. With newborn shoots we pencil in a rough date based on your due date and then move it accordingly based on when baby arrives and how you feel after giving birth. If you would prefer to wait till you are in a more comfortable routine then that's completely OK and we can look to book a session when the baby is any age of your choosing.
